Across and down, forwards only. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.
Large grid letters and a short forward-only list offer a roomier Halloween option. Print at 100% so the advertised 19-point grid letters and 16-point word list keep their size. Preview the actual vocabulary before choosing it for a group.

Print a clear copy
Choose US Letter for 8.5 × 11-inch paper, or A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper. Both editions contain the same activity and matching answers. Use portrait orientation and actual size. Page 1 is the activity; keep page 2 aside for checking. Print one sample before making classroom copies.
