How to use this word search
All eight directions, including backwards. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.
This longer Halloween search uses all eight directions. Scan for less common letters in words such as COBWEB or the longer names in the displayed list, then check neighbouring letters before drawing a line. Keep intersections readable.
After the activity
Choose a few found words to describe a fictional Halloween setting. For a mixed group, offer the easy Pumpkin patch page alongside this harder search.
Print a clear copy
