Ten familiar Thanksgiving words with 19-point letters and a 16-point list. All words read forwards across or down.
Across and down, forwards only.

Harvest gathering has eight words in a 10 × 10 grid, travelling forwards across and down. A season of gratitude adds twelve words and forward diagonals in a 14 × 14 grid. Around the table is the hard edition: sixteen words in a 16 × 16 grid, using all eight possible directions, including backwards. Autumn thanks keeps ten words and forward paths, with 19-point letters in a 12 × 12 grid.
Give guests a choice rather than assigning a puzzle by age. Someone who reads comfortably may still prefer the smaller word list. Pair a new reader with a willing helper, or let two solvers alternate picking a word. There is no timer or score.
Download the Thanksgiving edition in the paper size you use. Page one is the activity; page two shades the words in the identical grid. Print only page one for each guest, and put a single answer sheet aside for hints. Pencil circles are easy to erase if a solver follows the wrong letter path.
At a classroom table, read an unfamiliar word together before starting. After the search, invite each person to choose one word and explain its connection to the season. Gratitude can be personal: passing on the conversation is fine. These pages are free for family, classroom and tutoring use; share this page when another group wants copies.
Yes. Around the table contains sixteen words and permits all eight directions. The easy, medium and large print editions offer shorter lists or simpler paths on the same page.
Absolutely. Each of the four editions is free in Letter and A4. Choose by comfort with the words and directions, then print the puzzle page separately from its answer key.
