How to use this word search
Across and down, forwards only. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.
This Thanksgiving edition combines ten forward-only words with 19-point grid letters. The 16-point word list matters as much as the grid for comfortable reading. Choose actual size in the print dialog and avoid putting two pages on one sheet.
After the activity
Place the page and a pencil at an optional activity table. Discuss a word only if the solver wants to; a quiet search is a complete activity on its own.
Print a clear copy
Choose US Letter for 8.5 × 11-inch paper, or A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper. Both editions contain the same activity and matching answers. Use portrait orientation and actual size. Page 1 is the activity; keep page 2 aside for checking. Print one sample before making classroom copies.
Avoid two pages per sheet: at 100%, the grid uses 19-point letters and the word list uses 16-point text. Print scaling changes those sizes.
