How to use this word search
Across, down and diagonally, forwards only. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.
Costume names such as SKELETON, VAMPIRE and DRAGON appear with shorter items such as CAPE and CROWN. Forward diagonals make the medium grid a step up from Pumpkin patch. A costume may be familiar even when its spelling needs help.
After the activity
Invent a costume using two items or characters from the list. Describe the materials it would need, then check the printed spelling before labeling a drawing.
