How to use this word search
Across and down, forwards only. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.
Eight festive words use a compact grid with forwards-only paths. Read the list before searching so unfamiliar seasonal spellings do not get in the way. This is the gentlest of the Christmas searches; an answer page is included.
After the activity
Choose one find to draw on a card or gift label. Check that the Christmas theme suits your group before offering it as a classroom activity.
Print a clear copy
Choose US Letter for 8.5 × 11-inch paper, or A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper. Both editions contain the same activity and matching answers. Use portrait orientation and actual size. Page 1 is the activity; keep page 2 aside for checking. Print one sample before making classroom copies.
