How to use this word search
Across and down, forwards only. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.
Ten seasonal words travel forwards across and down in a roomy grid. Print at actual size to preserve the 19-point letters and 16-point list. Larger type is a format choice; read the terms together if the vocabulary is unfamiliar.
After the activity
Use this as an optional paper activity during a quiet gathering. Keep the answer copy separate and offer a small starting-row hint instead of revealing the whole solution.
Print a clear copy
Choose US Letter for 8.5 × 11-inch paper, or A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper. Both editions contain the same activity and matching answers. Use portrait orientation and actual size. Page 1 is the activity; keep page 2 aside for checking. Print one sample before making classroom copies.
Avoid two pages per sheet: at 100%, the grid uses 19-point letters and the word list uses 16-point text. Print scaling changes those sizes.
