How to use this maze
Start at the top opening. Find the bottom exit without crossing a wall.
The eight-by-eight maze has the widest passages in this collection. Find the top opening, trace with a finger, and compare the choices at a junction before drawing. The goal is the bottom opening, not simply the nearest edge.
After the activity
Trace a route in a light pencil so a wrong turn is easy to undo. If this feels comfortable, Turning trail adds more junctions in a twelve-by-twelve layout.
Print a clear copy
Choose US Letter for 8.5 × 11-inch paper, or A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper. Both editions contain the same activity and matching answers. Use portrait orientation and actual size. Page 1 is the activity; keep page 2 aside for checking. Print one sample before making classroom copies.
