## How to use this page

Across, down and diagonally, forwards only. Circle each complete word and cross it off the list. Letters may belong to more than one word.

The sports list includes short names such as GOLF and RUGBY alongside longer spellings such as SWIMMING and BASEBALL. Begin with a word you recognize, then follow its complete path. Forward diagonals add a challenge without reversed words.

## After the activity

Sort the sports into activities played with a ball and activities without one. Discuss which sports you have tried and which equipment a new player would need.
